Riding the bridled stockhorse to cattle

 - With Miles Kingdon-

Friday August 2, 2024 at The Skills of the Outfits- East of the Rockies

This will be a day of mounted learning from Master Horseman MilesKingdon with special unmounted sessions by featured Makers. Are you interested in the Spade Bit? Hackamore? Californios style Horsemanship and the Signal Balanced Ride? Want to see how this finely crafted gear is used by horsemen to develop a true Bridled Stockhorse? Watch as a group of riders are guided through Horsemanship and cattle working sessions, and take part in the unmounted sessions with a rare opportunity to hear from the Makers of the gear we use.

During the lunch break, John Visser of John Visser Saddles will share some of his thoughts and expertise on tree building, saddle making and saddle fit. After the cattlework session, Master Rawhide Braider and artist, John Lorree will share some of his wisdom and on his craft.

This will be a full day of incredible knowledge shared. We look forward to seeing you there!
